It might be longer if you reported your claim on a holiday or a weekend. That helps speed the process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Keep copies of any documents<\/strong> important to settling your claim. That might include: police reports; receipts; estimates; or notes of conversations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cooperate with the insurance company<\/strong> to settle the claim.
